Sweeping mountain and ocean views create the perfect backdrop for this blended wedding. We combined details from the couple’s diverse cultures to celebrate their heritages while designing a simple and elegant evening for them to enjoy. Read on for details on this beautiful venue and the sweetest first look.
I was thrilled this year when Pantone’s 2019 color of the year was announced. We liiiiiiiiiive for coral tones. Clearly, with Hawaii weddings, bright/fun colors are kind of our thing. Coral flowers against white sand or lush tropical greenery - does it really get any better?!
This past season we definitely saw our fair share of tropical pineapple centerpieces. Although - we loved the simplicity of this Hawaiian wedding centerpiece - we wanted to bring something a little more unique to the table! And alas - the coconut-inspired styled shoot was born.
Even when putting a styled shoot together - we love to highlight two people that are really, really truly in love and this is one of the most beautiful relationships I’ve ever seen. We wanted Amy to tell her love story in her own, very raw and authentic words and here it is…
What do giraffes, mojitos and wedding cake have in common? Well since you’ve already seen the photo I’m sure you can already guess. This wild wedding shoot took place at the San Antonio Zoo and it’s jam-packed with super fun details (but clearly the giraffe is probably THE most fun part of it).
Christina and Don's Hawaiian wedding was nothing short of an adventure. This couple planned their Hawaiian destination wedding with us at Kualoa Ranch with the infamous Jurassic Park set as their backdrop. With the perfect balance of masculine and feminine touches, i.e. epic mountains + beautiful soft blush tones, this wedding was one of our favorites of the year. The ceremony and reception were both held at Paliku Gardens at Kualoa Ranch with a special photo tour that took us all around the ranch into movie sets and the valley surrounded with mountains.
I don’t think we’ve ever seen a more perfect couple. Josh and Lenisse were the sweetest most sincerely in love couple we’ve ever seen. Lenisse, who’s originally from Brazil, and Josh is a native of Hawaii, decided to have their wedding in Waikiki and the Hale koa Hotel. This blush wedding was set at the Luau Garden with it’s lush greenery backdrop in the garden.
This high end wedding shoot was so fun for us to put together. We wanted to mix up the high end golds + feathers with the tropical orchids + ferns. We really played a lot with textures and mixed and matched the tropicals the gorgeous gold tones with rentals from Event Accents. Some fun and unique pieces you’ll find in this suite are the marble and feather escort cards, the gold mirrored table and the mini framed menu cards with gold calligraphy and foil.
Rose gold was the detail we were obsessing over for this elopement. Janae, who owns a luxury cake baking brand, wanted rose gold details sewn throughout this event and the rose gold cake was the perfect touch. We are loving this trend and hope it’ll be around for a while.
This lovely couple got engaged in the most romantic place in the world (Paris, of course!) so it only seemed right to have their shoot at the most romantic venue on Oahu. Paradise Plantation has an upscale appeal that makes you fall in love with it instantly. The immaculate details from the pool to the perfectly manicured gardens were all thought out from top to bottom by the owner, Pamela, who lives on the property full time. This venue is one of Oahu’s best kept secrets exclusively for Oahu’s Best planners.
